Role and Responsibilities

The Sourcing Demand Planning Lead will be responsible for leading one of the workpackages, which consists of a team of business development professionals and subject matter experts within the procurement domain, focusing specifically on sourcing demand planning and forecasting. The objective is to define an ideal future while ensuring a structured roadmap for implementation. This includes evaluating the most suitable software solutions and digital capabilities to support the vision.

Key responsibilities include:

• Sourcing demand dlanning & process development
  
• Define the ideal framework, ensuring alignment with overall transformation goals and other work packages within the program.
  
• Establish robust methodologies to support accurate sourcing planning and stakeholder collaboration.
  
• Assess and recommend technology solutions that enhance planning, strategy optimization, and stakeholder engagement.

Project Management & Execution

• Lead a team in defining the future state for Sourcing demand planning, ensuring alignment with broader procurement transformation initiatives.
  
• Develop a stagewise roadmap for adoption, including stakeholder engagement, capability-building, and system implementation.
  
• Drive requirement gathering and ensure adherence to procurement design principles.
  
• Oversee lead time and resource management to deliver key milestones efficiently.
  
• Prepare decision material for steering groups and senior management.
  
• Track progress, manage escalations, and ensure project execution aligns with defined objectives.

Business Implementation & Adoption

• Facilitate business transformation by ensuring smooth integration into procurement operations.
  
• Lead business implementation planning, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and training strategies for seamless adoption.
  
• Drive cost tracking and benefits realization, ensuring measurable improvements in procurement efficiency.

Who You Are

You have:

• Senior-level experience in procurement, demand planning, or supply chain management.
• A track record in large-scale transformation programs within an international setting.
• A track record of bringing visionary and elaborative ideas.
• Strong project management capabilities with a structured and results-driven approach.
• Familiarity with digital procurement tools and demand planning systems.

Qualifications

• Education: Relevant university degree (e.g., Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration)
• Languages:
  Mandatory: English
  Preferred: Swedish, German, Portuguese

Meriting Experience

• Deep expertise in sourcing (direct material), demand planning, supply forecasting, and procurement analytics.
• Experience in global procurement transformation programs.
• Familiarity with ERP, demand planning, and procurement automation tools.
