We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Developer with a strong background in Linux platforms, connectivity, and cybersecurity. The consultant will be part of a cross-functional agile team responsible for end-to-end development, including requirements, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance of embedded functionality in a modern Linux environment.

Assignment details:

• Start: Immediate

• Duration: At least 6 months (estimated)

• Location: On-site in Solna, 4 out of 5 days per week

• Language: Fluency in both Swedish and English (spoken and written).

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of experience as a software developer working in Linux development environment
• Minimum Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of Embedded Linux systems, low level software (drivers, wireless communication), open source, Yocto.
• Strong experience of C++ and RobotFramework
• Strong understanding and experience from working with CVE/SOUP
• Strong understanding and intrest in software test automation
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware schematics and concepts
• Source control systems experience (Git, Gitlab and/or GitHub)
• Result-oriented and cooperative team-player

Favourable:

• Build Continuous Integration systems experience.
• Experience of SBOM-handling
• Embedded systems hardware architecture knowledge
• Practical experience with SCRUM and agile methods
• Knowledge about:
  IEC62304 – Medical device software – Software life cycle processes and/or IEC 81001-5-1-Health software and health IT systems safety, effectiveness and security
• Previous experience from medtech or similar industry.
